Greatest individual performance

Good thread this.
My vote goes to Darren Huckerby in the 2.0 home win over Milwall. The night Ali B was sent off after about 10 minutes and Huckerby ripped them to shreds almost on his own at times

His effort that night was phenomenal - he worked himself so hard that half-way through the 2nd half he threw-up in front of the kippax, then carried on! He seemed to play in both the right full-back & striker positions at the same time.

I'm old so memory isn't all that but not many individual performances better than Edins at Spurs. Fantastic goals by a brilliant striker.

Kinky away at Leeds, whilst leaving the pitch at the end, Mcallister was walking with him and Howard wilkinson reached out a hand towards them, Mcallister put his hand out towards wilkinson and he walked by and shook kinkys.
Also kinky at home to Southampton.
Personal favourite is Paul Stewart away at Bradford, two seasons without an away win and he came up trumps that night.

Trautman in a testimonial at Maine road years after he retired he was still better than corrigan even then and Joe was playing for England. He was awesome.

Has to be Arthur Mann v West Ham 1970 at Maine Road for me. Arthur was a full back, but for some reason was deployed on the wing against the Hammers. What followed was one of the finest wing displays I can ever recall. Also Joe Corrigan v QPR in 1975. At one end was Joe and the other end Phill Parkes. Both keepers were unbeatable that day. Although the score ended 0-0, it was one game that always sticks in my mind.

Peter Barnes in a 5-1 win v Spurs in the late 70s. They got nowhere near him all day.

Lakes debut against Wimbledon at Plough Lane. He was 17 i think and was at centre half against John Fashanu. I remember walking out afterwards thinking fucking hell how good is he. He never gave Fash a kick.

Wanchope at Leeds was fabulous.

Neil Mcnab in the 10-1

Lakey again in the 5-1

Ali B everytime i saw him

And of course Silva in the 6-1. The pass for the 6th was one of the greatest things i have witnessed on a football pitch.
