Greatest individual performance

Good thread this.
My vote goes to Darren Huckerby in the 2.0 home win over Milwall. The night Ali B was sent off after about 10 minutes and Huckerby ripped them to shreds almost on his own at times

This was the one i would picked from my memory bank. a great performance and he ran himself into the ground that night.

Another was Paul Simpson in the 10 : 1 vs Huddersfield. Although he didnt score he was exceptional in his passing and crossing that afternoon.

As daft as it sounds, Stephen Jordan had a great game against the ladboy a few years back at our place. ended up a draw, he gave everything that day, and you could tell he was a blue...
always remembered that perfomanc!, obviously SWP had a few where he ripped new arseholes....

Great shout mate, I used to know his best mate (both went through the City academy together) and I always remember him telling me Steve was fuckin shitting it the night before lol, did a fantastic job on him.

Goalkeeping = Hart v Dortmund

Defending = Micah v scum (1-0 giovani) - he was unreal that day with the attack they had

Midfield = Yaya v Newcastle last year - the importance and the way he delivered was astounding

Attack = edin v spurs - he could of shot from anywhere and it would of went in

Opposing player = has to be the Berbatov performance for spurs, talk about taking the piss!!!!

So many already mentioned, a shout for Joe first game of the season at Spuds a couple ago, would not be fair not to mention Sun Jihai in the Spuds 4 3 win, ran all night and swore at the end

Trevor Francis debut at Stoke, scored twice, thought he was going to be the best signing ever........ how wrong !!

Joe Hart v Dortmund, 1-1 (October 2012)
Joe Hart @ Spurs, 0-0 (August 2010)
Peter Schmeichel @ Liverpool, 1-2 (April 2003)

Vincent Kompany v United, 1-0 (April 2012)
Richard Dunne/Sylvan Distin v Chelsea, 1-0 (October 2004)
Pablo Zabaleta v Spurs, 1-5 (August 2011)

Nigel de Jong v Chelsea, 2-1 (December 2010)
Yaya Toure v United, 1-0 (April 2011)
Ali Benarbia @ SheffWeds, 2-6 (August 2002)

Carlos Tevez v Stoke, 3-0 (May 2011)
Edin Dzeko @ Spurs, 1-5 (August 2011)
Kun Aguero v QPR, 3-2 from 93:15-93:25 (May 2012)

Though not a universally popular player,Rodney Marsh v Middlesbrough in 1975,I think.Hat trick and brilliant performance in 4-0 win.
Had to wait for the previously mentioned Berbatov performance to see anybody rival Marsh`s show that day.

Someone mentioned Balotelli vs Germany before, if you can include a performance by a City player while playing for their national team, David Silva playing as a false 9 for Spain against Scotland. He was getting compared with Messi at the time, and he was absolutely astonishingly good in that game.

Kinkladze versus Newcastle at Maine road 3-3. Looked like a world class player, genuinely world class

Best I've ever seen.... ^^

Colin Bell in the 3-3 derby in 71 was another as well as a game when when we were losing 3-1 to Wolves in the League Cup with 10 minutes to go and ending up winning 4-3 thanks to Colin....Both at Maine Road.
