Greatest winger to play for City

For me from my earliest memories of being a Blue it would have to be Dennis Tueart and Peter Barnes ripping it up week in, week out. Though I enjoyed SWP, Mark Kennedy and I even liked watching Tony Scully back in the dark days.

Coleman was vastly underrated and Tueart was my hero with Barnes. Buzzer was probably best I saw, however i have to go with my grandfather who reckons it was Eric Brook, absolutely no question.

-- Sat Dec 01, 2012 10:06 am --

Coleman was vastly underrated and Tueart was my hero with Barnes. In my time, as an out and out winger I used to love watching Peter Beagrie play in the Horton period. Great entertainer, beat his man, let hime get back, beat him again.

Sure he's not our best but on his day a real talent.

i used to love peter beagrie.
he would be my choice.

but then there is SWP and terry cooke.

when i look back we didn't have a lot to choose from when i was growing up, ha ha

Peter Barnes for me by an absolute mile. Nobody else comes close. *Disclaimer i was too young to see Buzzer!
