Greatest winger to play for City

Meredith was indeed a City legend but From what I have been told Eric Brook was better .

Ian Penney in a book tried to list all the great City players,

I think Brook came 7th

What a great bit of business with Barnsley, for him and Tilson for £6k.....

An honourable mention should go to Tom,y Hutch as someone mentioned earlier

We've had some crackers - in my time Barnsey (P), Dennis, Whitey, Hutch and Shauny all stand-out, but Mike Summerbee is the greatest of the lot.

All joking aside,Peter Beagrie had more talent than Gio Kinkladze imo, loved watching the Horton era.

Really ? I mean really ?

All will say on this matter u r proper different heroin 2 me

Peter Barnes was before my time but from the clips I've seen he must be up there, looked like a proper skilful old-fashioned winger. Beagrie a similar kind of player although not the same level imo.

SWP obviously deserves a mention as well. From recent years though I'd go with Petrov, loved watching him play. Fantastic crosser of the ball and a thunderous shot on him, should've had a better career really than ending up at Bolton

Peter Barnes for me.

When that lad was on blob he could destroy any fullback and was a joy to watch.

I will always remember Stand Leige at home, AC Milan at home, and then England v Italy, and England v Scotland (boy there was a load of trouble after that game) back in the day. All 1977-1979!!

Awesome player and I feel a 19 year Peter Barnes would get into our current team no problem!!

Mike Summerbee 100% work rate every game but LEGS ELEVEN Ian Mellor was an owd favourite of mine but quickly vanished when oh Rodney Rodney Marsh arrived.Maine Road god i wish we were still there.
