I live in a new build 3rd floor flat, I'm not worried as the fire safety is very good,If it had sprinklers it would have been extinguished in the flat where it began.
Without wanting to sound like I'm taking the pith, because I'm not. Good luck if the outside of the building is on fire, or you live on the 24th floor.I might invest £50 for a emergency escape ladder that I could use off my balcony.
October 27, 2010. What's becoming increasingly clear is that these problems have been known about for a long time. The level of negligence is incredible. Ordinary people being treated with utter disdain by those in charge.Not sure of the date of this but this issue seems known
