Guardiola to Axe Kompany (Various Sources)

And yet you, Bill even my bloody mum hasn't given Pep a chance because he's let a favourite leave and is probably going to show a few others the door this summer.

He's here to bring a long term plan and strategy to the whole of the club, it's no good keeping Vinnie, Zab Hart etc... no matter their quality if they don't fit into the plan. Like i said earlier it's time to move on, everyone complains that our back 5 isn't either good enough or is too old but then complain when it looks like were getting rid of some.

RESERVING JUDGEMENT is giving someone a chance, I've never said I wouldn't give him a chance I've said he is not the Messiah, the best manager in the world etc., etc., all the rhetoric people are giving out, just that I am reserving judgement!! Once again I will say, I support him because he manages Manchester City!!! Not because I think he is the Messiah!! OK? It is my opinion and I am as entitled as anyone to state it. :-)

Peo Guardiola = Malcolm Allison. Different background and the latter had been here before successfully under someone else, but ultimately he is systematically getting rid of all our best players -Hart /Kompany / Aguero. Forget the argument about age 2 are in their absolute prime or (in VKs case) injury- this smells of "I have the biggest bollocks" syndrome all over again - let's get rid of all our decent long standing players- only difference is we have money this time so at least we have heard of most of those he brings in. For me 10 games of Vinnie and playing with 10 men the other 28 league games wouldn't put us much worse than the shit we see now, although a lot of it is Peps seeming inability to give a toss about defending rather than player ability. But hey, he is the messiah - can't do a thing wrong. Took Munich from winning a treble and 25 point gap to the nearest challengers before he joined to 19 point gap and the double the year after. Genius

Any criticism of Pep on here is unwelcome, as soon as you make one, the attack dogs start circling.

It should be unwelcome currently. He's nine months into the job and his record before coming to us should afford him far more respect than one or two seem to be affording him.

This has been tweeted by Sammy Lee from GOAL this morning, who is, I believe, a well balanced Utd fan (don't see many of those around)

'You can win the title and not be a great side, not be good enough in Europe. City want to be truly great, and I think it's worth going with.'

I think this is what we must all remember when viewing what is going on at City. Pep has been employed to build a great team, not a winning team, not a functional team, a great team. If he succeeds we will, along with the whole world, be creaming ourselves. I agree with Sammy, aim for the stars !

NB I tried to do the embed thing but couldn't get it to work.

Haha. what a load of bollocks and hypocritical in the extreme coming from you Billy.

I didn't expect us to win anything this year, I fully expected us to take a while to get going.

He's a better keeper than both Willy and Bravo. You're going on as though Hart was a terrible keeper, he isn't. What I wanted was for him to be given a chance. If it was proven he couldn't hack it, fine. He wasn't given a chance though, he was fucked off as soon as.
But he's a different keeper from them - that's why I used the Carroll example.

Sergio Aguero is a fine striker, unarguably. But he could never play for Watford because he doesn't play their football so it doesn't matter how good he is

Hart was a square peg in a round hole here under Pep. It's not an issue of quality, it's an issue of style of play.

I'm fucking sick of people calling me a hypocrite for not being the same person I was in 2012 - which incidentally was half a decade ago. Maybe as you get older you stop growing both intellectually and emotionally as a person, but I've managed to do both in the last five years. I'll leave you and Bill to your nonsense double act. Bluemoon is terrible these days and it doesn't help when people like you take up with the idiot brigade.

He's just like Malcolm Allison if Malcolm had won 6 league titles and 2 European Cups before he took over while widely considered the best coach in the world and one of the greatest of all time

So not at all like Malcolm Allison then.
