Guardiola to Axe Kompany (Various Sources)

On the one hand, he simply cant be trusted anymore to build a defence around because of his injury record, but on the other hand, a fully fit Vincent Kompany is one of the best CB's in the world.

The manager has been brought in to make some really tough decisions, some that we as a fanbase arent going to agree with, but as much as I love Vinnie, I agree with him on this one.

Axe Kompany? He's not playing. Hasn't played regularly for 3 seasons. This isn't a decision that Guardiola even has to think about, it's a conclusion that most blues came to over the course of last season and this

Can we get a thread where if people do not agree it does not spiral into a personal vendetta. Bluemoon is going right down the pan due to the "keyboard warriors" we have as fans. Would you be so abusive face to face? I doubt it.

Back to topic. IMO and its only my opinion I think Pep is doing the right thing, he can't go into a game thinking a sub will be needed for Vinnie just in case. Its sad as he has been a champion with us but we can't rely on him to make a full 90 consistently so we should move on and look to evolve. Re the fullbacks, I also think that Pep is looking longer term and thought they may have been able to adapt better, having said that, you can't account for professional players not being able to pass well at their ages (Gael and Sagna).

Its fine as long as he gets rid of the of the others who are not good enough either although it will take some doing as its 16 long including players out on loan.

Utter nonsense.

He was brought in to be a centre back and was immediately stuck at RB, where Micah beat him out.

That's why he left. We didn't give him a chance in the position we bought him in.
we also fucked him about around the time his partner was having their baby, didn't go down too well

Weve played good attacking football since we first won the PL, its all about trophy's fella no more no less, do you think Chelsea fans give a shit about being liked whilst they are celebrating there 5th PL title?

I get this style thing but fucking hell give it a rest about World domination and being the best team to watch the world has ever seen, Barca and Bayern have had a 30-40 year heritage at the top of European football-we are struggling to reach quarter finals.

We are nowhere near the level of Barca or Bayern, lets win a few PL titles first eh?

I respectfully disagree with you and clearly so do our owners.

It's all about winning with style.

Couldnt agree more. The thing that stings with Vinnie is he is good enough, you can guarantee there would have been more effort put in Wednesday if he were on the park. Leaders like that lad dont grown on trees unfortunately.
