Guardiola to Axe Kompany (Various Sources)

Glad to see that Pep is not publically announcing end of season changes because his first priority now is to ensure we get at least 4th place in the PL.

Obviously there will be changes but he needs all his 1st team players in a committed mood to achieve this objective. He does right to dismiss the paper talk of 12 or so players leaving because he needs those players now despite their long term future being in doubt.

Am I missing something here? Has Pep turned an underachieving Bayern into seriel CL winners?

You're quite clearly just trying to be a twat here, I've explained myself incredibly clearly and stated what Pep brought to Bayern, apart from the dozens of club and bundesliga records he broke. He brought them to their most prolonged period of being at the top of the European game since 1976, and he also established a dominance over the rest of the league they've never had before (in fact no club had ever won 4 times in a row before Guardiola)

If you're unhappy with the manager I suggest fucking off for the next 3-5 because thankfully, the people who run the club aren't as dense as the few people like you who actually can't see him for the manager he is.

It will be a sad day when Vinnie leaves. Definitely one of, if not THEE best centre halves i've watched. Just as he peaked ,the injuries appeared and we should be enjoying his services for another couple of seasons. I met him once also with his family going for a meal in West Didsbury and we had a chat and he was an absolute gent, as he'd already stopped a couple of times talking to fans, but i reckon he'd have been happy to stay there all day talking shite tbh! haha, top man.

No his latest injury was a soft muscle in training.

The major one was due to his collision with Bravo

The one in training pep also said wasn't related to his previous injuries and he also said wasn't serious. He also said in his presser today that Kompany had been training fully with the squad for the last 2 weeks and that he needs more time to see if he can trust Kompany not to break down (which I completely get)

Yes he's been training again for two weeks after 9 days out with a soft muscle injury in training.

Nothing to do with the injury after running into Bravo.

That's my point.

In his first season, when you complained about him letting in 33% more goals....

He set the bundesliga record for quickest time to win the league (27 games) and of the 23 goals they let in, 11 came after they'd already been crowned champions.

So to be honest, your complaint about his conceding more goals is one of the dumbest fucking things I 've ever seen on this forum.

That's probably against forum etiquette but sorry, it needed to be said.

You are right, Guardiola had a high starting point, he's the best coach in he world and they won a treble.

And from that high starting point he set dozens of club and league records while acheiving what Bayern wanted - turning their success into a permanent position at he top of the European game. That's what he was brought in to do, to stop the "FC Hollywood" reputation that Bayern had where the club was surrounded by drama off the pitch and turn the flashes of success they've had in Europe into a long term stranglehold on the latter stages of the champions league.
Speaking of dumb my friend you are clearly incapable of reading a whole conversation because if you were you would realise that wasn't the point I was getting at. I think to be frank he has been shit so far I think he couldn't defend a white man in America. Ultimately we are in a worst position than last year so far having spent a fortune and comparing against a corpse of a manager.

Wind your fucking neck in you mard arse.

You just said Pep brought Bayern there most prolonged period in Europe since 1976?

Absolute bollocks.

The major injury was caused by bravo..he was fit (again according to Pep) for 4 weeks or so prior to the soft tissue injury and after the bravo injury....he played a game as well. Pep decided not to play him in those 4 weeks (again probably waiting to know if he could trust Kompanys injuries not to break down again)

DO we know how the soft tissue injury was caused? Collision or just pulled up as I never heard either way?
