Guidetti

Anyone KNOW what the contract offer was?

Before we decide to vilify his choice, would it not be nice to actually KNOW what the "choice" was?

As I have said on other threads, Mancini needs to TRY and bed in some of these promising players instead of putting them on the bench and them never getting on the field. Otherwise, EVERY Academy player is going to suck City's teat until he turns 20 and then move on to a decent career elsewhere.

Sturridge SHOULD have been a learning experience. Maybe it was and the Club felt Guidetti was never going to make the leap here.

TOO MANY UNKNOWNS to have any honest feelings about his decision, other than he and his advisors obviously believe it is in HIS best interests to move on. Good for him and I wish him the best!

Why would you leave a club who's about to make huge progress in establishing themselves as a real force, fair enough you won't play every game but if he has ambitions and thinks he could challenge world class players you so would stay.

Bit hasty, he could go on loan and play first team football. He scored in his first start for Burnley but then the club recalled him because of injuries. Next season he could have a season long loan but he seems very impatient even though he only just turned 19.

Excatly, he shouldn't play for the EDS again. Do pre-season with us, play in the carling cup then go on loan for rest of season. How many 19-20 year olds are first teamers at the top clubs in europe?

almost none

At the moment with him being 19 the best outcome I see is him going the Championship, maybe to Sven.
