Guitar Thread

I know what you mean. There is nothing like picking up a guitar made from superb wood, Mahogany, Fine grain Alder etc and fitted with the best quality hardware. Now I really want that PRS :)
I once had a JD Supernatural Bass, made by John Diggins in Birmingham. It was easily the best Bass Ive ever owned but stupid me sold it to fund another purchase. Always regretted that.
We've all done it...I sold my EKO twelve string in the early eighties for next to fuck all...Can't believe I did that.

Did you get it?

Since getting my lad the Jaguar for Xmas, im GASsing for a new bass....i have an old (crappy) Aria Pro bass that i use for recording...it does the job....but fancy a semi-hollow body.

These Harley Benton's (Thomann's own brand) are really cheap, but decent reviews......i want this

The neck is FAST

New. I restrung the guitar..all the strings sound ok apart from that 1st E. It seemed ok before i restrung it all. I'll loosen the trust rod and set it again...see if it helps :)

I have decided to make a change and I have listed my Takamine electro 12 stringer and my Epiphone Dot on eBay to see if I can sell them at a decent price.

I think I will continue to monitor the Martin acoustics to see if I can snag a bargain at not too much extra cost.

There is a mint condition D-45 on there at present for £1,200 (which will go for much much more but it will be interesting to see where it ends up)..............

Did it help? And by rattling, what do you mean exactly......is it buzzing against the frets?
