I had a look at how much they were going for, mate. Seemed to be between 1500 and 2k for a decent one. The fact no one has bought that, for 800 is quite telling.

Used guitars that have requi neck repairs.

Too much of a gamble to buy off eBay or the like or everything is a risk anyways?

Edit: Full disclosure, this is what I have been looking at

That's weird how there is no pictures of the front of the headstock showing the Gibson decal or pics of the front of the neck showing the crown inlays in detail.
The d string tuner looks out of line for some reason.
Could be a fake, have you checked out the serial number?
