Penalty yes, having the balls to take it over our world class superstars though. The “open net” is as a horrific ball from Sterling.
 
As others have said it was Sterling’s fault for the open net, it was an abysmal pass.
 
Thankfully the media are cottoning on to it as well.

I don't normally like to see our players slagged off in the papers but if that's what it takes to get Pep to realise that it might not be the formation or a host of other things holding us back: it's the continual selection of a player who's poor in front of goal in a position with a responsibility to shoot and to chip in with some goals.

Our stats with and without him in the team are night and day.
 
He is Pep's favourite player, he is not going to drop him. Pep thinks Gundogan is world class, so hes gonna play him.
