Gundogan new 4 year contract

We finally got to see what we bought last year and I was sceptical he was performing at that level to put himself in the shop window.

Glad he's proved me wrong and commited himself as the club supported him a lot for 2 years of injury. Hopefully we see him continue like last year.

Just Leroy left to extend now!

Really? Silva won't be here next year, possibly fernandinho too. Foden and Gundo will play a lot more this year.

The problem with the majority of young English talent is that they're overhyped and overpushed and then they fade out. We seem to be managing Foden perfectly, he will get his game time. He knows that- you can't expect him to have been in the dark about this contract extension.

He played more of a role in last year's treble than kdb, David, and sane. All of whom are untouchable from criticism on here (understandable to an extent).

Sane is out long term and might have been gone anyway. Which means Bernardo, as good as he was there, is no longer going to be playing in the middle, he's a winger/forward now.

That means you have gundo, kdb, Silva, foden competing for the 8s. 2 players per position. Would you rather we had 3 for 2 positions?

Also, if your standard for judging a player is their speed, rodri won't stand a chance with you.
