That's a bargain price
You really think Dortmund will accept such a laughable offer?
They'd rather sell Mkhitaryan and Hummels and make Gündogan the one having to sit out his contract.

lkay Gundogan injured again, worry for Manchester City
If it hadn't been for injury problems then it's pretty certain Ilkay Gundogan would have left Borussia Dortmund last summer. The club announced the player was set to leave and Gundogan commented on it too, it's worth pointing out that so far was the midfielder out of the Dortmund door that at one point odds of around 8/1 were available on him staying (a happy Sport Witness memory).
No club came forward who were prepared to satisfy the financial demands of both player and club, and so Gundogan backtracked, extended his contract by a single year, until June 2017, and made sure we were all set for the same situation a year later.
This time around things are different, Gundogan has proven he's returned from a long term back injury situation, and that will have helped gather more interest. Manchester City are the most linked club, with claims all over Germany about a deal being close.
However, the player has yet again succumbed to injury. Bild report that after Dortmund's last match, Gundogan was seen with his calf bandaged, and 'walked silently and frustrated' in the dressing room. Dortmund have said he'd taken a blow to the shin, but Bild point out that the injury comes not so long after Gundogan picked up another in early March, leaving him out for over a month.
On one hand the injuries could be nothing to do with a long term issue, and absolutely nothing to worry about, but on the other hand Manchester City will surely be keeping a close eye on the situation to make sure they're not on the verge of picking up a player who will be repeatedly out.

Yes, he will. He is really that good. Kinda understated like Modric. But fucking good.Watching Modric slip past our players last night, I'm hoping we can see that from Gundogan.
Kicker reporting Dortmund want a lot more than what we offered.
