World class

That's a nice watch. Reminds me a bit of a superior Wilshere - great range of passing but without the loss of control and lunges leading to injury. When Dortmund had their run in the champs league under Klopp I remember him being good at the intricate one touch stuff as well so he should suit us. Even so, the injury he had has to be a bit of a worry with the physicality of the premier league. If we can keep him fit, he's quality.

If the £23m release clause is accurate then this would be a fantastic deal for City.

He will not be really expansive because his contract runs out next summer - no matter how high the release clause is. A year later Dortmund would not get anything. The transfer sum would probably in similar heights without a clause.

does this deal seem on then? is that the goss in Germany as well?

It is nothing really surprising as everybody expects Gündogan to leave the BVB this summer. With Guardiola Manchester City gets interesting for him. Bayern and Barcelona held talks with Gündogan last year - but his agent (uncle) overdrew in the bidding and wanted too much. That was only a season after he missed a season because of his back injury and he showed in it that he will be back but it was still a little risky.
