gustavo is a good holding midfielder but he is only that and ndj is better at that rodwell offers more than that and was valued far higher before injury and if he stays injury free with our better coaching could very well be one of englands best midfielders but more than that hes ours and i wouldnt swap his left foot for gustavo have some faith .as for barry he and milner were citys best midfielders last season has he got worse during his hols
 
Arsenal have made a £14million bid for him according to several journalists. Would be a great signing for them... Brazil has some quality midfielders at the moment.

If they get him and Suarez then they are on to something and will be the surprise package next season.
 
Haven't seen much of Gustavo
How high is he in the rank of Brazilian midfielders like Ramires,Paulinho,Fernandinho,Sandro and Lucas (Liverpool)?

No shame in being a bit part player for Bayern as they have Javi Martinez and Schweinsteiger in his role and I suspect he wants first team football in order to claim a place in Brazil's squad for the world cup
 
Rodwell is more versatile than Gustavo.
But he hasn't got a prayer when it comes to being as good as him, nevermind better.
Perhaps, in the future, but for now Gustavo is a vastly superior, champions league veteran.
 
We should be going for this guy, better DM than Barry and Garcia and can even fill in at LB!
