Genius
Correct. And it was the sort of goal Denis Law was famous for. Instinctive finish,at an angle most forwards could only dream of attempting. Law scored plenty of goals throughout his career with Huddersfield City Utd and Scotland ,where he found the ability to project the ball to goal from the most awkward of angles.Genius coupled with insane ability.
Maybe not so unique. Torres for City away at Newcastle was ,imo, on the same high level.Backheel bicycle kick is how I'm referring to it. Absolutely unique.
Hempo is a genius.Yeah, he's got previous with that kind of goal. Dortmund, I believe. And let's not forget Lauren Hemp scored one that could be described as fluke or genius. With City the BBC call it a fluke; if Rasmus or Ellie score it then it's genius.
Haaland's goal was unique.Maybe not so unique. Torres for City away at Newcastle was ,imo, on the same high level.
He was so high he nearly took Nunes’s head off.Haaland's goal was unique.
Torres' goal was fantastic but there are 2 major differences that make Haaland's goal more difficult and more unique:
1. Haaland's volley was from a much greater height. Torres' was a lot easier to reach with his heel. Torres' was hip height, Haaland's was head height.
2. Haaland's volley had to change the direction of the ball. Torres just lifted it but it continued in the same general direction, Haaland sent the ball back the way it came.
Tevez was good at that as well....the goal away at Blackpool and the league cup semi at United spring to mindCorrect. And it was the sort of goal Denis Law was famous for. Genius is indeed, the only way to describe that particular rare ability.
Well, did he mean it or was it just flukey. I'd like to think he meant what he was doing and Hoddle reckons he did as well.
Don't know how to add voting buttons, as that would probably help - bit like the Stones Goal thread.
Just an ingenious bit of instinctive improvisation. The type that only certain players are physically capable of.Well, did he mean it or was it just flukey. I'd like to think he meant what he was doing and Hoddle reckons he did as well.

What else was he trying to do by swinging his legs 10ft in the air?
If she has brothers that are bigger than you, you might want to bear it in mind.Put it on for a rag relative and all he said is that he should have been carded for dangerous play, then went on to explain how football is a bit shit now and he doesn't support the rags and is thinking of watching Swedish football instead.
When I laughed at him my wife gave me the look, she's running out of family that comes round.
