Was very interesting being one of the Trick or Treaters tonight, for the first time in 30 years when we preferred Tricking to Treating, by booting people's bins over or chucking stones at their windows.
A number of people ignored the bell. Plenty of nice ladies cooing over the kids and producing bags of sweets. And one grumpy old fucker who shouted at them and gave them seven one pence coins each.
