At the end of the day Alan Hansen and friends are paid to provide an opinion and as the saying goes 'you cant please everybody all of the time'. The minute he says something racist about Mario then I will join in with this campaign but as far as I'm concerned the BBC pundit's have only ever questioned his attitude and that has nothing to do with his race.
As Didsbury Dave points out the whole thread is an embarrassment and I seriously hope opposing fans aren't reading this as they will be having a right old laugh at our expense. Just as we did when Kenny Dalglish claimed there was a conspiracy against Liverpool FC last season for all manner of things.
Seriously, lighten up, get off your pointless crusade, enjoy life and stop making our club look stupid
How odd....some guy who joined a few days ago lecturing us about in his words a "Pointless crusade".
I often wonder what paid media type's lurk hidden in the shadows on this site suddenly springing into life to protect undeclared interests and attempt to deflect or limit or argue against potentially damaging comments to clients developing to a wider audience.
Its called democratic freedom to exercise an opinion and the "Stop making our club look stupid " is at best juvinile.
Its nothing to do with the Football club, the opinions on this issue are genuine and a serious concern to the individual fans. I believe its like like throwing a small pebble into a pond which starting to create ripples outward to the establishment.
Or maybe I am just an old cynical hippie
What a load of bollocks!!!
The BBC pundit (who is paid a staggering £40k per show) in front of millions of viewers on live sport event calling a young Intl footballer "Stupid - Petulant - Liability -Lazy - Offers nothing because he's unreliable - Nutter - Thick - Daft...." and to say that's okay, because it's his opinion?!! Bizarre!!!
Are you actually saying that these sort of comments are acceptable?
"his goals was down to defensive mistakes"
"he's having a go at his team mate"
"He'll need to score ten hat-tricks next season to get my respect"
"if brains where petrol he wouldn't get out the garage"
"Balotelli has achieved nothing in his career yet" [lack of knowledge shocker]
NO, it's absolutely not acceptable!!
The BBC have acknowledged and admitted in response to my complaints, .... "We [BBC] understand you felt the commentators and presenters were biased against Mario Balotelli. We appreciate in your view, they made a series of snide and offensive remarks which were unnecessary.

FFS, even neutral fans had enough of Hanson's attack on Mario!
