With this trial being football-related, how can they ensure the jury won't have interests of football in their minds? Willing to bet few tottenham fans would want to send him down, but chelsea, arsenal etc. fans will want him gone

If he is found guilty of these charges will he be kicked out of the professional game for fraud ? Or face some ban for bringing the game into disrepute ?

Pros say that on 11th January 2008 Redknapp wrote to Monaco bank and requested remaining $207,000 transferred to his London HSBC account

Jury told that this was discovered after initial investigation into £300,000 profit made by Redknapp on @rioferdy5 (Rio Ferdinand) transfer from West Ham.

Prosecution tell jury it was significant that Monaco was offshore with "minimal taxation and long history of banking secrecy"

Jury told by prosecution that eventually it will be for them to decide if there was "full and frank disclosure" of the Monaco account
