You lot really make me laugh. 1107 pages in and you are still talking about him coming. How long have you been supporting us? 3 weeks? 4 weeks? When did we last sign a 28 year old? Look back over the last 5 or 6 years and, apart from a 2nd string goalkeeper, when have we signed a 28 year old? It is not, repeat NOT, going to happen. We don’t do ‘short term fixes’.

I’ve been supporting us for 39 years and I believe we’ll sign him because we don’t need a young project, we need a ready made goalscorer to fill the void Sergio has left regardless of age. Sometimes you have to go against the grain especially when a striker as good as Kane wants to join. We need Kane, Kane needs us and we need a striker to come in who is up there with Sergio for scoring goals.
