Harry Kane

You lot really make me laugh. 1107 pages in and you are still talking about him coming. How long have you been supporting us? 3 weeks? 4 weeks? When did we last sign a 28 year old? Look back over the last 5 or 6 years and, apart from a 2nd string goalkeeper, when have we signed a 28 year old? It is not, repeat NOT, going to happen. We don’t do ‘short term fixes’.
Fernandinho and mahrez were both as old...

The vote is after he signs for us, so he does not have a scooby doo chance of winning.

Jordan will double up or Sir Rashford will be given it for services to the diamond industry.
Considering what happened with the last PFA award, I'd wager Kane would have a chance.

With the prospects coming through atm who can learn from the best who if nutured well will be 1st team ready in 1-3 years then going for:

A 28yr old who is the best goalscorer in the league at present, Captains his country, and got at least 4 yrs in him or more if he keeps up his fitness isn't a short term fix.

Whilst we don't have much previous for going big on a player in their late twenty's I find it hard to believe you genuinely think this isn't going to happen.
The chairman made it quite clear that we would be doing business that we don't normally do with age profile a bit higher than we've seen in the past. He also made it clear that Aguero would be replaced by a player worthy of doing so.
I'm not sure how you can come to the conclusion this is impossible a signing when all evidence points to the opposite.
Hes hardly a short term fix either when we'd likely get 4 very good seasons out of him.
I'm not enamoured about the numbers being bandied about and expect them to be exaggerated somewhat but I'm definitely excited to see a bonofide top quality goalscorer fill the void that's been empty for a while now.
It still might fall through and not happen but it won't be for the reasons you state.

He would have to completely change his mindset to playing , how long would that take pep to instill, he doesnt know where the goal is , you cant train instinct or grow up overnight , i seem to be in the minority of keeping bernie instead , so be it , i am never afraid to be in the minority , ha

Top quality players like Grealish can adapt he will relish it, feel pep will make him into a gundogan type player with skill..

I want to keep Bernie and sign Grealish aswell. I’m sure Pep will know first hand what he expects to get from Grealish should we sign him, to say he plays for fouls and slows the game down is a lazy argument.

Everytime I watch him play he genuinely seems to be targeted, teams know he’s a dangerous player and would rather foul him than let him carry on and do damage.
I've watched football for over 60 years and have never seen a player who holds onto the ball for (far) too long, and 'plays for the foul' as much as Jack Grealish.
It's not necessarily cheating, but it's petty and definitely slows the game down. Either he plays that way intentionally, or it's a bad habit he's carried from his childhood playing days. I suspect the latter.
When watching Villa games, I've often thought that his actions have caused promising moves to break down rather than put Villa in a good position.
I honestly don't think Pep or any other coach will be able to coach probably deeply ingrained habits out of him. His 'stop/start' style of play has worked for him at every level, and (while it's only based on what I've seen and heard on the media) he seems to have an air of arrogant self-confidence about him.

He's a maverick, and as such, I think he may find it hard to adapt to our more disciplined style of play.

Do we want to risk signing another Rodney Marsh? Only time will tell... Good luck to the lad whatever the outcome.
