Think Kane will surprise a few here and will really push this move through
is it now? didn't we know kane *believes* he has a gentlemen's agreement for a while now?It is. The fact that there are now reports of a gentlemen's agreement to leave make it a decent scoop at the very least
Better to reiterate the reports, in what is seemingly an important week for his future, and that the narrative hasn't changed. It is good news, that's all.is it now? didn't we know kane *believes* he has a gentlemen's agreement for a while now?
I can't see him doing that and unfair to expect him to do so. Kane's future casts a giant shadow over their club. Let it hover there for a year if necessary. We can wait. We are the Champions. City can go again with this squad.Kane holds all the cards. If he states his head is not in the right place to play and believes he had an agreement to leave, Nuno will be left without a striker and no money to purchase one. His value will drop and Levy will want the deal done. All down to him now to force it through.
The biggest obstacle to this transfer seems to me that Levy/Spurs have no intention of selling Kane. There was talk recently that Spurs would let Kane go but I am not sure I believe this. Do they look like a club that is planning on life without Kane? This could go on for 12 months because I don't see an alternative for City, and City won the league title last season without a striker so there's no need for City to move on. If Levy wants to play the long game, let him, he will lose.
