I think you’re underestimating Txiki's negotiating powers. What part of that is incorrect?
It's poor from City, they should have completed the Kane deal first, they have gone and bid 100m for a 3 bed terraced house and then tried to get a 4 bed semi detached on the same road for the same price. Its really bad negotiations and it will result in a much more expensive player or a shambles.
I know what you mean , but its still Simon ******* Jordan! lolI’d love to hear Simon Jordan today. He’d be going apoplectic about this.
People really do expect Kane to sit at Tottenham and rot until he retires. They’re going backwards.
Try telling that to the employees of British Gas who were recently fired for rejecting a new contract with worse terms & conditions & then re-hired under the terms of the new contract, and all perfectly legal apparently!Doesn't matter how much Kane wants to come to us, contracts are worth more than gentleman's agreements. This is why contracts get signed, because gentleman's agreements are wishy washy and vulnerable to being reneged on.
How do you feel about van Dijkhead going on strike to force through a move to Littlewoods?Doesn't matter how much Kane wants to come to us, contracts are worth more than gentleman's agreements. This is why contracts get signed, because gentleman's agreements are wishy washy and vulnerable to being reneged on. Levy's got the right to demand £150m for Kane and if we can't pay it, which we won't be able to unless we flog Bernardo, then Kane will be staying exactly where he's contracted to. As I said, if he wanted to leave Tottenham so badly then he shouldn't have signed a 6-year deal midway through his career. Nobody held a gun to his head and forced him to sign it. Kane's trying to force a way out of Spurs but will end up staying there, meanwhile Grealish is turning up and training for Villa and will still get the transfer he wants. That should tell you everything you need to know about how badly Kane has been advised here.
Spurs wouldn't refuse to comment if he was injured, plus he would still be at the training complex, which he isn't.Has anyone thought he might have missed training because he’s (once again) injured? He probably stubbed his big toe!
