I think there is a bit of dirty laundry happening there, but I doubt the figure is irrelevant or randon.
It is not a random figure. As Jim says, that is the lowest figure that could be considered reasonable for Kane. The problem is that Levy wants the highest figure that can be achieved for Kane. Supposedly he thinks that is £160m.
That is assuming that Levy is a willing seller.
