Harry Kane

No, it won’t do. I did try to explain simply that it is often a verbal agreement that relies on honour. Let’s say you get a season ticket in your name but you are struggling to pay for it. You get a friend to go halves and agree to split the games. Then the season ticket lands in your name and you tell you mate to fuck off. Your mate has no comeback because the money came out of your account and the ticket is in your name, no evidence. It’s a verbal agreement that relies on honour but you are despicable fork tongued Cnut. Then everyone down the pub wonders why the normally nice, affable bloke is suddenly being an arse to you.

Does that explanation help?

Yep.

How does this help City close the deal?

They've not really covered themselves in glory on Bluemoon have they? It's such a weird flex to be such a nothing club, run by such a nothing man, and to come on a forum of the champions and give it the big one about how they're gonna make loadsa money from selling Kane or they'll keep him whether he likes it or not.

Like literally, neither of those things is good. You're club is fucked and Kane's dragging it through the mud, but you want to act like you're in control. It's a funny delusion I guess.
But that does not mean that Levy will sell which is what we are all interested in. They are not a nothing club either. If they were a nothing club, then we were a nothing club for most of our existence.

If you're interested in talking to a Spurs supporter who is doing his best to belittle you and the club you support whilst you suck up to him that's your business.

I think he would be well advised to sell but I don't think he is going to.

I think Kane may well end up submitting a transfer request and discussing his position with the coach but I don't think it will make much difference. The coach may have a say. May. If anything is going to change this, Kane has to rattle the cage and even then it might not be enough. As you say City have to agree a deal with Spurs and I have seen no evidence that Spurs are planning on doing this.

Kane has been badly advised. Hardly surprising. Charlie does not inspire confidence.

A six year contract and yet he wants to leave. Why?
Briefing the media that he is going without having a deal in place. Why?
Going to war with Levy when you need him to do you a favour. Why?

City may be trying to get to a win/win situation with Spurs but Kane is definitely not doing that with Levy.

And that is a problem.
