No, it won’t do. I did try to explain simply that it is often a verbal agreement that relies on honour. Let’s say you get a season ticket in your name but you are struggling to pay for it. You get a friend to go halves and agree to split the games. Then the season ticket lands in your name and you tell you mate to fuck off. Your mate has no comeback because the money came out of your account and the ticket is in your name, no evidence. I think Kane may well end up submitting a transfer request and discussing his position with the coach but I don't think it will make much difference. The coach may have a say. May. If anything is going to change this, Kane has to rattle the cage and even then it might not be enough. As you say City have to agree a deal with Spurs and I have seen no evidence that Spurs are planning on doing this.
