Don't see us selling both Ake and Laporte. I think this year will decide which one goes - if Stones has another blinder with Dias, Laporte will go as he's far too good to play back up. If Stones falters and Laporte gets back into the team, Ake will be sold and Stones will be the rotation option. Can't see us going from having arguably the best set of four CBs in the league to having Sandler being the rotation option in one season.

We were badly undercooked with a couple of kids in. Under the circumstances I thought we did well to make it so close. Could have gone either way. It’s always nice to win the Community Shield but it’s neither going to ruin my weekend or season. Some folk need to get a grip of their knickers.
