Harry Kane

Spurs know that Kane is leaving, Kane knows he is leaving and City know he is coming. It's a done deal.

However, Spurs have to try to make the situation not look as bad as it is. They are playing us at the weekend and, put simply, there is not a chance in hell they will let him join us before the game. Even if we offered £170m, it will get their fans whipped up in anger.

He will join us, but there's no way he'll be here before the season starts.
100% correct.

I also heard earlier in the week that Kane wasn't going to play a part in Sunday's match (for some reason that I can't recall right now), which, if true, points towards a done deal IMO.

We don't want our new signing getting crocked now do we, and neither do Spuds ;)

Doesn't matter if he plays anyway loads have players have played against teams they were going to sign for.

Reading between the lines it seems like everything is mostly agreed, except maybe add ons and things like that, and Spurs getting a replacement in. Also they're not going to sell him to us in time for him to play this weekend.

Frustrating but still think by end of August he'll be in sky blue and Spurs are just doing what's best for their club (the cunts).

Just my totally uneducated guess though.
Reading between which lines i am sorry

2 Spurs fans travel back in time.

"It's 2008 Marty!"

"You know what happened in 2008, don't you?"

"Yes Doc."

"That's the last time Spurs won a trophy,"
