He hasn’t had game changing opportunities as often as aguero, they’ll be many at city and he will deliver. Can see why this post hasn`t got many likes !!

I agree with you. We only have Sterling that can dart into the space that a false 9 creates, and he isn’t going to be on the pitch every game. Could easily be Foden and Mahrez when Foden is fit. We have KDB and Grealish to load the bullets, Kane needs to be the one firing them. That’s not to say he won’t ever make some false 9 movements. He will. But it should be less frequent than last season.I don't think I'm overthinking anything. It's the classic "imagine that in our side" comment we often see without considering it not being useful/applicable to us. We see it constantly, the biggest example being with the fullbacks. For about half a decade people like to imagine other sides flying fullbacks in our side ignoring the fact Pep wouldn't have them doing the same things here as they do for their club. I see this as the same thing for all the reasons mentioned in my last post.
If we wanted Kane dropping into midfield like he does at spurs and England we may aswell just stick with the false 9 and have a midfielder do it better.
I'm not trying to typecast him as just a goalscorer here, he has has plenty of qualities beyond that i just don't think those specific qualities relating to his playmaking ability that have been a huge asset to spurs and would be an asset in many other teams are needed here because our style is different and the players already at the club that do that better than him.
His holdup play would be much more useful to us than him dropping deep. Having him actually upfront occupying defenders gives the creators in the side more room to work in. The ability to bounce a ball off him on the edge of the box opens up an easier path into those triangles in the inside forward positions where we do our best work.
Ah, I see. Is that why you are on here reinforcing the message or, is it because you are shitting yourself at the prospect of Spurs selling their best players once again? The club have put out through all its usual journo sources that he’s not for sale this summer, been stated by ally gold (Spurs spokesman pretty much) and Romano (paraticis guy). I think he has a price , I don’t believe city are willing to match it, Kane’s strike was to put pressure on levy to budge his price imo , it didn’t work and now he’s back with us un till city pay what levy wants.
Exactly. So easy for this to be nipped in the bud.Or Kane himself
Ask PickfordGenuine question, although it will never happen ever, what happens if a player scores a deliberate own goal? Do they get done in for match fixing?
Not sure, did Pollock get any punishment?Genuine question, although it will never happen ever, what happens if a player scores a deliberate own goal? Do they get done in for match fixing?
Faster to type.Just out of interest, why first name terms for one but not the other ?
Yes mate, one and only 9 we are after. Is Kane the only confirmed player we are interested in? I haven't been keeping up with the transfer window this summer.
