Harry Kane

I can't see this happening. Spurs know they will struggle to finish in top 10 without Kane.

£160 million given his age is ridiculous.

Levy thinks he can keep him another year and still get £120 million + from City or someone else next summer for a 29 year old Kane.

Not for me. I would rather wait till next summer and go all out for Halland for his release of £76 million.

Really this is Kane's fault. He should have put a reasonable transfer clause in his contract like Greelish. Now he will be stuck at Spurs his entire career and win nothing.

The holy grail ?
Only the penitent man will pass.

As most movie fans will probably know, this is a famous line from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."

My question is about the specific meaning of pass in this sentence.

Theoretically, there are at least two different meanings for pass that could be used for the translation:

1. pass = proceed, move on, go past

2. pass = successfully undergo a test, succeed
