Harry Kane

The most cocky arrogant shite when they are winning. But Spursy, your last top flight title win was nearer Victorian times than yesterday. Don't let the door hit your arse on your way off this forum. Utter bell ends.

That was the option number 3. Chi-town was one that said it was lose 120m or lose 30m. He hadn't factored in the part about about actually not selling at all and retaining the most valuable player in the league.

How valuable will he be to Spurs if he's unhappy and everyone in the squad knows he wanted out, in your opinion?

Have you forgotten that Grealish had a release clause?
Tonnes of players have release clauses, particulary in Spain, most are still sold through negotiating. City would have tried to negotiate for Grealish but quickly understood it was pointless. This is virtually the same apart from release clause not being in a contract but in the head of the seller.

It really doesn't work like that in real life. Maybe Harry feels the same way with his supposed 'Gentlemens agreement'?

He does not care for your sorry project, he is a professional and at best will stay another year till his value falls and someone else comes in. You are nothing more than a selling club who had their peak floating about in top 4 before reality came calling again and you just ended up where you usually do. The fact most of your fans want the money for Kane instead of wanting to keep him says a lot about your fanbase 'desensitised' to money, ironically.

I would imagine that won't happen, he will knuckle down, get a payrise after Christmas and forget this ever happened. He's too professional and driven to let this affect him, he has records to chase down. In terms of his value to Spurs he's worth twice what is on the table, he's literally the only chance we have of CL football and the riches involved in that. Top 4 looks as close to a closed shop as it was after Leeds went down, Kane can score the goals to break in, if Kane goes you may as well throw away the key.
