The key point to this is 'we need someone who can stand in the right place'. This is what separates a good striker with a world class striker. They need that ability to know where to be at the right time all the time and sniff out the chances. Hence why we need Kane over any of those others mentioned.

Bamford lol? Come onCan't believe we're haggling over such massive transfer fees for Kane when Ings, Andre Silva, Martinez, Calvert-Lewin and Bamford either are available, or were available, this summer for significantly cheaper. We need someone who can stand in the right place and slam the ball in the net when one of our trillion attacking midfielders puts it on a place for them. We don't need to spend £130m to rectify that issue.

But if you are hell bent on leaving, mainly for success rather than fortune then why anybody puts loyalty bonuses before the move I don’t know. Not saying he has, in general it’s the go to reply when people say why don’t they put a transfer request in.
Nobody really knows, but my hunch would be Kane is far, far more interested in trying to leave on as good a terms as he can, with a view to returning to Spurs in some capacity in the future, than he is about a loyalty bonus.
Handing in a transfer request might be seen as a last resort and blunt instrument he doesn’t want to deploy just yet.
I don’t think we’re quite at that stage.
Surely Dortmund would tempted to sell Haaland in this transfer window if City offered them £150mill? If City sign Kane this season, then Haalnad isn't coming to City next season. And with Cavani leaving United at the end of this season, they will go in for Haalnd without any other PL clubs after him, which is very worrying, as it gives United a free run at Haaland.

Not a good alternative, an alternative would be pay Dortmund and Haaland and co whatever they want to get the deal done!They have an alternative, go with what we have.
