Why? Like the rest, he has no idea, just makes up a story and convinces himself he's right, the same as people do on here.If Romano is pushing it then our interest must be serious.
It's a little bit frustrating that it's going to play out ahead of the CL final and hopefully it won't distract any of the current squad.

True, he's clearly a very good footballer and you'd imagine he'd adapt, but, to me anyway, Pep has always seemed to prefer more athletic CFs and I think someone like Lautaro Martinez would be a better fit (although I'm not convinced he's anywhere near as good as Kane - I just mean the style of player).The same could be said of Sergio when Pep joined, with Sergio a similar age to Kane’s now, but Pep got Sergio to reinvent himself and be the player Pep wanted, closing down, running for the team and putting the team first. I think Kane is more of that style player than Sergio was, and could adapt to how Pep wants him to play
I still think Haaland is the top choice, but it looks like he's staying in Dortmund for another year.
Other than him, I'm not sure who's both available and at the calibre we need. Maybe someone like Greizeman could be signed on the cheap after his poor spell at Barca?

What do we all think is a realistic transfer fee for Kane? I can see the club going to £90m absolute maximum. £150m being quoted is just an insane figure, definitely not justifiable.
I honestly can't see it happening (with any club) for any less than 100m up front plus 20-30m in addons. Even that is bare minimum after months of haggling and media wrangling. Probably 120m plus addons as a realistic.
