Spurs are in a financial mess. The new stadium cost a billion with a view to doubling match day revenue. They have lost that, took out a huge loan recently, have players not happy with wages, have not qualified for the Champions league and to cap it all have that dinosaur managing them. This is the time to strike. Levy will see it as a way out of the mess and can blame it on the financial pressures of Covid. If there is ever a time for us to spend a shed load on a striker, it is now. One year before Aguero's contract finishes, plus we don't know how he will recover from this meniscus injury and with the relaxation of FFP rules over the Covid period.
