Harry Kane

Purely based on not being a fashionable name I'd say, although that doesn't mean my perception, but I will add that where we are today,"bigger names " are welcomed more.

Back in the day Ings would have been a great signing, but these days we are looking at,or should I say pissing about with others, more superstat factor.

Sad,but true
Absolute rubbish. You think City can be as successful as they have been by worrying about the superstar status of a player not his skill and ability. Ings’ injury record and inability to go a full season without a major injury more than likely played a part

I didn't want him because I don't particularly rate him. Nothing to do with him being unfashionable.

That being said, if it was a choice between him or the twat in Turin then I'm 100% a die hard Dings fanboy.

More a case of city competing for titles and valuing 'certainty' over 'risk'. This has always been a quandary. I don't think it's a new phenomenon. The guy with a proven track record always costs more than potential.

Not like a paragon of rational logic like yourself to misconstrue a quote and make strawman arguments to belittle the original intent.
It was moving the same logic into the absurd in order to show the holes in it.

If you want it a bit direct - just because Guardiola said that sometimes things change, doesn't mean that he meant this specific thing or this specific time or any specific thing or time. Unless your point was that Guardiola generally believes that things change in football which is a truism because things change in every industry on the planet and not really reflective of any real point
