Harry Kane

This saga probably reflects more negatively on Spurs than ourselves.
  • Kane obviously wanted to further his career at a bigger club such as City
  • No City player wanted to go to Spurs as part of an exchange
  • Spurs are left with an unhappy and depreciating asset (albeit a very talented one)
I think its to our credit we didn't go scattergun and we pursued our No1 target, although unsuccessfully.

We are the best run Football club in the world.....I am sure we have a an alternative plan.
And anyone who signs for them will want a release clause

Yes...i also know that, as covid drastically impacted the league, its was no real barometer for success this year...we managed better last year to our credit but we are currently failing once again in providing a once in a lifetime manager with all the tools he needs.

At the end of the previous season we dropped off and we also started badly. Only the godly run during the middle secured the league and as i said already many teams were not at the races...we won a lot of games by 1 goal.

Its a mistake to hold last season as an example as this year will be drastically different. This kane situation is shocking to me given our supposed planning and "3 planned players for every position" malarky.

We STILL need a CDM, we STILL need a LB, and we URGENTLY need a striker...two if what gabby had just said about his positional preference is accurate. We have lumped our eggs into the kane basket and its come back to bite us so predictably.

I just cannot believe the situation we find ourselves in.
Did covid not apply all teams last season ? Several of ours had it but we still won , you are being childish
