Harry Kane

Didnt want him 18 months ago...

Still wouldnt have him now (even if we ddnt have Haaland)

Why is that?

Haaland is a beast and will go down as a goal-scoring great no doubt. He'll never be as good a footballer as Kane though unless he improved massively in most departments.

I think Kane is overrated depsite his goal scoring record. .....Against the better teams his record isnt great (especially when compared to someone like Aguero for instance). He will score against the midtable teams but struggles against the better ones.

Why does everybody act like Haalands bad at dribbling or passing. Just because he doesn’t get much opportunity to do it doesn’t mean he can’t.

If kane was in our team he would be just as isolated as haaland is now up top. Peps style at city inherently screws over the forwards time on the ball.

Never said he couldn't do either. You're making things up.

And with Kane's ability to drop deep and get involved it's complete nonsense to say that he would be isolated.

Bit of a difference playing for our City team than Tottenham. Do you actually think Aguero would score in the same amount of big games if he played for Tottenham instead with players like Moura, Bergwijn, Lamela, Alli etc around him?

Any every striker on the planet scores most of their goals against lesser opposition. Not just Kane. Lewandowski made a career of it for years in Germany.

Completely agree, hence we were prepared to pay significant money for him even though Haalands release clause kicked in a year later.

He would be Peps dream player, could add numbers to the midfield, drop deep, link play, incredible passing range and with the ruthlessness in front of goal of a striker. His performance at the Etihad last year, incorporating all of the above listed skillsets was incredible. Along with Berbatov, many moons ago, probably the best I have seen from an opposition forward.

Exactly. There's only Benzema that can match his all round game. Both are superior footballers to Lewandowski. We've seen how good Kane can be with Son, Tottenham's only other world-class player in previous seasons. You would have to think his game would also be somewhat elevated further having the likes of De Bruyne, Silva and Foden around him.

If he goes to Germany to play for Bayern he'll finally start to be given the credit he deserves from all once he rips it up for them and starts to win things.

I think Aguero scores goals whereever he is. Kane needs other players....Aguero makes goals on his own at times.

Kanes work rate and pace isnt there

You also get the circus that follows the England captain.....How could Pep drop the Capt of England for instance
