Harry Kane

But will Raiola let Haarland stay at one club for more than 3 years. He's always looking for more ways to earn money, and that way is selling on his stars for big agent fees
I think raiola and his tour of Europe probably made Txiki and pep think fuck this off.
Haaland mAy be a great player, he may be a city fan, his dad may have played for the club but taking the piss and creating a circus does him no favours at all.

I wasnt forgetting about either jesus or torres. Just reckon delap could actually be our very own haaland

He has had a fantastic season, has the build to bully defenders and isnt exactly small at 6ft
There is no doubt he is a talent but the gulf from the EDS to the first team is enormous, prefer to see him get regular game time and toughen him up.

Physically he is a beast and he bullies most of the opposition in the EDS games.

They will have expected to finish in the top4. A big club like that in a league they are superior than most others will have expected it despite their blip. They appointed a manager for next season on that basis, they had an interim manager on that basis, and they had a stance on Haaland which wouldn't shift.

the figure of €150m was widely advised by Dortmund sources, some attributed to their own board. Reportedly less if up front.

The rest I entirely agree with btw, entirely valid and perfectly believable and logical.

Can’t comment other than to say that with main bank lending rates at 0.1%, ‘up front’ payments offer an advantage that is so minuscule that it’s less than imperceptible in terms of interest earning lost.

And also, loan rates are dependent upon loan security so a promise of payment from a club as well financed as City draws very little interest. With this in mind, I think it unlikely that Dortmund would be putting it about that a discount could be had for an upfront payment.

“Roll up, roll up young superstar for sale. Check his teeth, he’s a young ‘un and all yours for €150M with a bargain discount thrown in for Shekels up front!”

That doesn’t sound right.
IMO it sounds more like some journo has been embellishing a story in an attempt to sound close to the action.

As they all do.....some think they're close but still haven't a clue!

The lad across the road was at Mere golf club the other day when Pep turned up and guess what interview had just been done there! Neville and Kane, coincidence you decide.

Possibly a loan yep, may come down to how he fares on this summers pre-season schedule as well (if we get one)
