Harry Kane

I think Kane would have a field day in this city side - our conversion should be much higher considering the number decent balls that get out into the area, both on the ground and in the air. He has decent link up play, can spot a pass plus he's not afraid to have a pop from distance - throw in the fact he's ok taking a pen, what's not to like! Hopefully, he would leave his barber in London and let other people do post match interviews.

My only concern is who would drop out to accommodate him in our 'best' 11. Bernardo is the absolute heartbeat of this side and the unsung reason behind our success this season, I do worry that he would be the player to get less game time, whoever they bring in.

Our best 11 is a moveable feast and has been all season with different players showing form at different times, plus we will have injuries and need to rest players. I have no worries in this regard.
Have to say my main concern is his ankles, recurrent injures in the same place is a worry.

The lad across the road was at Mere golf club the other day when Pep turned up and guess what interview had just been done there! Neville and Kane, coincidence you decide.
If true that's interesting. As why would Kane travel up north to conduct an interview for Sky / Sky Bet.

Surely they would've picked a local course to Kane.

he wouldnt get flogged here though

I am ok with Kane but wonder how he will cope with being told how to Play and be actually coached to play in a different way by Pep?
He is Billy Big Bollocks at spurs. He will just be one of many at City.
Kun was prepared to learn from Pep and buckle down. Will Kane?
Quite probably. He had to go out on loans to nurture his early career, which suggests both flexibility and a realistic attitude.

If he comes to us, it’s because he’s attracted to the City proposition, namely proven success, style and Pep at the helm. He’ll still be a big fish but in a bigger pool. It’s a great move, for which he‘ll be happy to make whatever (minor) adjustments are necessary.

I’ve seen no signs of a Billy Big Bollocks mentality. He may be their best known, most highly rated player but I’ve not seen him giving it large.

You make him sound like an Ibrahimovic. Any evidence for that?

Can't blame Levy, if I was him I'd sell Kane for the first offer that came from an acceptable club to Kane.
Looks like he's not playing Levy's game; he's playing Harry's Game, can't blame him for that as he knows what a difficult twat he is in negotiations.

I will bet you now that if we sign him, it will be for a lot more than that. Nothing less than 100m, imo.
I hope not, their financial set up does means their tight owner will not put his money in. I don’t want us to finance their upgrade of their squad. U can see what Levy will do which is go round struggling clubs and get several loans like Bale.

I don’t think that’s true? In the interview Kane is talking about the holes on the course like he plays there every week and the two Caddies that obviously work at the course are southerners.

I don’t think the golf course in the Harry Kane interview is up north.
