Harry Kane

I’m a retired commercial director.
I worked for a FSTE top 100 company that entrusted me to a sole decision remit up to £20M, and that was a decade ago.
Thus I have reason to believe that I have a fair grasp of “business decisions”.

If you feel that anything I wrote was factually incorrect then please point it out as I’ll be happy to mull it over.I know enough to know that I’m not always right, even on my specialist topic, and I’m always pleased to be educated.

I’m less than happy to be on the receiving end of your arrogantly abusive judgement, Mr Baconface, you often write good stuff and I expected better of you.
About to watch the game but I’ll get back to you later.

We didn’t buy Kev or Sergio with that injury record or pay £120m ish for both together.
Well no we didn't but also all players will miss games due to injury/niggles.

If kane comes then we should be delighted as he's a proven goal scorer.

Harry Kane even though is a good striker and i would like to see him play for the Sky Blues, he isn’t ideally a long term replacement for Aguero, he would play for a good 4-5 seasons but he isnt the best option especially as the minimum price is 180m£. It’s better to stick with Jesus or to sign somebody like a Gio Reyna.
Where’s £180m come from?

People need to stop with this Reasle value bullshit. We don't buy players with an eye on resale value. We buy players who can stay long term and improve our team. We aren't selling club and we kept hold of top. Players at first team level very well. Resale valuebis for Dippers. They sell, not us. We didn't buy Fernandinho with an eye on resale value. Only thing that can be talked about is his fitness and injuries of they come into play. Other things don't matter
We don’t buy players to resell. We buy players to win trophies and he would definitely gives us more of that. He is an absolute clinical finish would would thrive in our team.
At 27 its not a question of selling(as he'd be going on 33 after 5 years) its no value beyond his initial contract period. Haaland would be a free(wage increases aside) re-singing in 5 years time. Thats the point.

Haaland would imo cost 100mill more. Don’t see us spending that on one player. Kane is def a possibility imo haaland is out of our reach for what we spend
