Lukaku probably has the ankles of a 70 year old at this stage, with all the extra weight he's carried around on them.
 
He's a good player, but doubt he would pass a medical with those ankles. It's not just the fact that they are more likely to keep failing, but he is likely to get arthritis sooner rather than later as the joint will not be tight.
 
Again, Mbappe wouldn't cost much more. And he is about 6 years younger. Haaland would also probably go for less than that.
No chance we go for Kane.

He's signed up for 4 more seasons. Levy holds all the cards. He's basically done what Shearer did and swapped a more certain chance to win trophies with the less certain chance of winning one with his boyhood club.
