Harry Kane

He should be hurting. He was pretty ineffective last night. Gave the ball away too often and threw himself to the ground on numerous occasions trying to win a cheap foul. Guilty of not playing to the whistle more than once which put us under pressure.

I wish I could get that bothered about his performances in an England shirt, but I just can't. I think he'll be a revelation for City, that's the important thing.

surely the guys might want their futures sorted before their holibobs? Talks between clubs, agents etc would have been ongoing through the euros?

Only way it be sorted before his hols is if the deal has been done we get Kane in the London’s Man City studio do the video the reveal then he goes on his hols! Be more like it be dragged out for the next 2/3 weeks in the way we do business and levy

Anything over £75m will be too much. Look at my previous posts, even before the tournament this isn't a snap judgement based on recent games. He can't keep pace with fast transitioning team. Not only physically but mentally as well.

Yes Southgate didn't showcase his strengths but he really showed his weakness. When we play stubborn teams he will do well for us. Sat up top waiting for his moment to spring to life in and around the box. He'd be great in those circumstances, he has enough energy and pace to fulfill this role.

In big games, the ones we struggle in we need a more energetic, intelligent player. He couldn't keep up with our press, he couldn't rotate positions fluidly, he'd literally hang around 20 yards away from where we'd need him.

Look he's a great player, but we need specific type of players. We can't buy a great player and try shoe horn him in to a system coz it will break the system. I might be wrong, I'm not a manager, yet Pep didn't fancy kun and he has more pace and energy than kane and he's got 4/5 years on him.

If we can't get haaland I'd like us to go with Jesus and buy isak with torres getting chances upfront. Not ideal I know but after haaland there is a huge drop in talent. Also would be intrigued what Pep could do Marcus thuram.

I would love to know any star striker that would improve our squad, that we could buy for less than 75 mill, including City tax.

Stopped reading after your utterly ludicrous first sentence.

Surprised you have this opinion by the way. Kane literally spent 120 minutes playing from midfield. He definitely wasnt a striker today. He was a midfielder playing balls into either the wingbacks, Sterling or mount. Englands biggest weakness is their clear lack of creative midfielder. Lot of attacking talent but nothing to deliver the attacking talent any balls.
England's biggest weakness is the manager.

In our history we have signed alot of strikers who have not performed either through injury or form. Whether we were in Division 1 or 2 or 3. Just because Kane scores at Spurs does not mean even with our procession football mean he will do it here. He wont start every game as well so will he spit his dummy out. Fuck spurs dont give them a penny.
