Harry Kane

I agree.

Plus Haaland is younger, a big lad, powerful.

I remember watching him brush Dias off in the Champions League,(that never happens). He was a nightmare to mark.

All the signs of his all round game, point to him being suited for the physicality of English football.

Kane for me offers not that much, a glorified Goal hanger, with the occasional Worldy.Son never gets the credit he deserves for Kane scoring. Splitting defenses for Kane open goals.
Kane reminds me of a better Joe Royal, he would score goals but would also look like a big lump, especially in the very best matches.

So if pep wants a certain player should the club just buy another player and say here you go we bought this player for you oh by they way he wants to move to Spain in 3/4 years!

Aguero was finished for us for a couple of seasons and his build is a lot more lean than kanes. We won't pay over 100 million and you won't get 5 seasons out of him
Agüero was more reliant on pace than Kane though - and also had worse injuries.

19-20: 23 in 32 is hardy “finished”

Bony says hi. No on a serious note you are 80% right but for the money levy wants I wouldn't go for him. He would play a quarter less games as well maybe more. Pep doesn't rush any one back after injury and will rotate , can Kane handle that.
Kane comes across as a humble bloke, but you just know that he craves the glory and titles he hasn't achieved at Spurs - This is is best chance... He's been at his peak for a couple of years and knows that he won't keep it up much longer. He'll be absolutely desperate to get a shot at winning something before he hits his 30s, but he'll still want to be the 'top man', not just a part of it.

Unless they're out injured, any £100m+ 'main striker', not just Kane, would want to play every game, not 75% of them due to rotation.

Kane is the Spurs and England captain - Would he expect to stroll in and be captain at City? Has he shown himself to have the character to lead (or even be part of) a great team?

I think he'd have a shock being 'just another squad member' amongst technically better footballers at City. He should stay as the big fish in the little pond at Spurs if he wants to continue to be the top man.

Joe Royle by the way.
Kane is nothing like big Joe, kane is far more technically gifted whereas Royle was a typical centre forward. Big, arms everywhere, sticking his head in where it hurts.
Chalk and cheese.
I know you was looking for bites so here you go.
