Harry Kane

Haaland isn’t happening. Kane will be a City player come the start of next season. Happy fucking days. Pep is going to get the best possible weapon he could have whose name isn’t Lionel.

That’s not an ITK post just my opinion based on the lay of the land.
I can see that if City are going to buy their first £100m+ player then it will always be Kane over Haaland. He is just the more sensible and safer option without having to sacrifice the immediate impact of the player.

I think Haaland will not go anywhere until next season when he`ll get a mega payout from someone.Hopefully us.
Can’t get my head around people saying this.

On what planet do people think City sign Harry Kane this summer on what I’d imagine a 5year contract earning mega wages roughly what Sergio is on now to then go out and sign Haaland next summer.

If Kane signs then Haaland will not be signing for city in the foreseeable. My guess is he’ll go next summer to Barcelona or Real Madrid when they can afford the buyout clause. Bayern is another potential suitor for him next summer.

Doesn't this all depend on if spurs are prepared to sell Kane ?

Yes Kane might want to come to City

Yes City might want Kane.

Kane is on a long contract at spurs.

Spurs will want silly money

City wont pay silly money.

Spurs might be happy to keep an unhappy Kane. At the end of the day Spurs hold all the cards

Runs to get my tin hat !

They’re talking (City and Spurs). It’s on the way.

debt. Spurs are in massive debt due to the pandemic and stadium costs. I think Levy bites your hand off for 100 mil if offered

The thing about Harland is, he’s said In interview before in a article about how he wants to play in different leagues/emulate Ronaldo. That does not sound like a player who will stick to one club, plus his agent. It just sounds like trouble

I have more time for the idea that people think he’s a bit of a twat. Questioning his ability or his goal/appearance record is weak.
The best was the comment that he’d have to learn how to pass the ball at City rather than just shoot, without looking at his assist stats (including the fact he’s the top assister in the league this season).

Kane would count as Home grown right?
him plus grealish, would set us in gound standing on that front
For UEFA purposes he'd be Association Trained and therefore take one of the 4 available slots, for PL purposes he'd be 'Homegrown' and take one of the 8 slots. This is presuming they're not already full in which case he'd go into an open slot(one of 17).

Also......Too slow,doesnt press,and is selfish.

Bwahahahahhahahaahahah

He just said in that interview he knows he can score more than he is now, he’s aiming for 70 goals a season. His attitude is great. I’m sure he will explode here , does help that the best midfielder in the world is behind him

Lol,thats what i said?
I was agreeing. Even going back to the 70s/80s we never really brought through top class strikers. Over the years there were Palmer, Bennett, the Beckford brothers, Moulden, Kinsey, Sheron, Ward, Evans, Sturridge, all hyped to various degrees and none ever really lived up to it, though most had decent careers elsewhere
