Couldn’t disagree more.City can walk away at any point. Levy has a 28 year old forward that does not want to play for the club. I don’t see the situation so one sided.
Kane is to blame for not inserting a clause.
Levy maybe winning the PR war but that is all. City are not desperate for a forward. It would help but once we are up and running city will still be in the mix.
Lots of reasons, but for starters using two games at the start of a season against top quality opposition with half the side missing and minimal preseason for the other as a microcosm of things would be the dumbest thing Daniel Levy could ever do.Why not?
You could argue the other way and suggest Spurs don’t need Kane as they beat the champions without him. Think we should lower our offer to £30mLots of reasons, but for starters using two games at the start of a season against top quality opposition with half the side missing and minimal preseason for the other as a microcosm of things would be the dumbest thing Daniel Levy could ever do.
Yeah. I prefer this idea. You could argue the other way and suggest Spurs don’t need Kane as they beat the champions without him. Think we should lower our offer to £30m
Still a lot of money for a left back.Yeah. I prefer this idea.
Just a small edit ;-)The flappers on here thinking we've lost out from ONE game is predictable!!!!
Ah losing the Charity Shield and seeing Spurs beat Arsenal in the Mind trophy. Yes he probably thinks Spurs will finish above us nowI said ten days so I mean two games plus the way rivals have started.
We are absolutely gagging for a forward.City can walk away at any point. Levy has a 28 year old forward that does not want to play for the club. I don’t see the situation so one sided.

Come on stop it. You can concede defeat graciously. The same group won the league last year. If Kane is unobtainable then we can find another good player just like we did with Dias.Couldn’t disagree more.
Kane will have no choice but to crack on and score goals for Spurs if he doesn’t get his move so it’s irrelevant wether at this moment in time he doesn’t want to play for Spurs.
City ARE desperate for a forward. The club has basically admitted we are desperate to sign him.
Based on what? Winning 2 trophies last season? We are absolutely gagging for a forward.

Kane and Spurs are the losers in this situation. Disgruntled player playing for a club that won’t compete this year, next year or any fucking year.
Levy wins because we pay £150m? He will only waste it on debt repayments and buying mediocre players. City have wasted money before (Mendy) and will waste more in the future but we will also win trophies. So if a win is money and PR then I guess Levy wins. Won’t be winning fuck all else.

Disagree but that’s OK.Lots of reasons, but for starters using two games at the start of a season against top quality opposition with half the side missing and minimal preseason for the other as a microcosm of things would be the dumbest thing Daniel Levy could ever do.
I personally don’t even want Kane at the money being mentioned but I do think Levy has handled the negotiations pretty well by being so stubborn on his crazy price. He won’t budge from it either. You can’t really suggest he hasn’t handled it well regardless of wether you feel it’s his fault Kane wants out.Come on stop it. You can concede defeat graciously. I’m talking about the price for Kane, not where Spurs will finish.Ah losing the Charity Shield and seeing Spurs beat Arsenal in the Mind trophy. Yes he probably thinks Spurs will finish above us now
While also losing 2Based on what? Winning 2 trophies last season?
Are you saying we might decide to pay the asking price or that levy would increase his price?I’m talking about the price for Kane, not where Spurs will finish.
They’ll still finish below us if we lose out on Kane and play Mendy up front.
Pep and Khaldoon have literally said we want a striker and you are the only city fan I’ve heard so far claiming we don’t need one. Lay off the smack pal.Based on what? Winning 2 trophies last season?
The players we have are not performing. Once that is resolved the forward issue goes away.
