The price won't change. Kane was left out because a deal is progressed to a point where he wasn't risked.I’m talking about the price for Kane, not where Spurs will finish.
They’ll still finish below us if we lose out on Kane and play Mendy up front.
Don’t think the argument is about needing a striker. Someone said Levy has the upper hand because of this game but he is arguing this game has no bearingPep and Khaldoon have literally said we want a striker and you are the only city fan I’ve heard so far claiming we don’t need one. Lay off the smack pal.
FFS. Getting to the Final in one and SF in the other! If that's failure then fuck knows what all the other teams that entered those comps think!?While also losing 2
No one is saying that smartarse. However when you are in the unique position we found ourselves, and with only poor team selection and decision making between us and a win, then that is a situation that needs examining and questioning.Yeah if we don’t win 4 out of 4 trophies each year we are failures
We threw both away.FFS. Getting to the Final in one and SF in the other! If that's failure then fuck knows what all the other teams that entered those comps think!?
But if it's 150m it would have been regardless of what happened these past two weeks.Disagree but that’s OK.
If Levy gets £150m, or very close, he’ll be far from dumb.
Let’s talk again when we see the outcome.
Perfectly reasonable way to feel, but it was never going to happen that way.Anyone else annoyed that a deal wasnt done before the season started ? or is it just me ?
Champions are never desperate. We need to improve our goals and Kane could be the missing piece but desperate I just don’t see it.I personally don’t even want Kane at the money being mentioned but I do think Levy has handled the negotiations pretty well by being so stubborn on his crazy price. He won’t budge from it either. You can’t really suggest he hasn’t handled it well regardless of wether you feel it’s his fault Kane wants out.
If the likes of Sam Lee and other people with decent sources on here are to be believed it is Kane or nobody. I’m staggered you don’t think we are desperate for a goal scorer.
I agree and souness was right post match when he said " If city are relying on Gundogan again to be top scorer then they will be in trouble this season"City fans who don’t want Kane baffle me. Put him up front today and he takes one of those chances simple as that. That’s why you need a striker because even when you don’t play well they sometimes just need half a chance and they bag. The problem with our set up is that we have to play well in order to score/win, because we don’t have that player who can score half chances and convert normal fucking chances. For that reason alone he would be worth every penny

We don’t need a forward to win. The team proved that last year. A forward would help put away the chances we create no doubt.Pep and Khaldoon have literally said we want a striker and you are the only city fan I’ve heard so far claiming we don’t need one. Lay off the smack pal.
And Levy will have played a great poker hand. But if it's 150m it would have been regardless of what happened these past two weeks.
Most clubs lost a lot far more than that, at least we got too the sharp end. While also losing 2
