A quick search on Getty Images and google shows no photos of Kane uploaded at all from the game.

In this day and age, with hundreds of professional photographers at a stadium, it's just not believable that he'd be there and not be seen.

And Sky would have had plenty of their 65 cameras checking out each and every hospitality box, and covering every seat in the players', and executive sections.

He wasn't there.

Just as I thought mate.

It's about the amount of money that already has been spend. If we are truly looking to some max numbers we are willing to spend on a striker, than the money we already have spend could have came in handy.

Also it's not about Kane but a striker in general. Harry Kane is not the only one that is the level we are needing or aiming. Yet he seems to be the only target till now.

Right name me another great centre forward that could do a better job than Kane and more importantly is available ??

It’s also a good example why he wants to leave, he’s too good to play for a team that sits back at home to try and counter. He was nearly a defensive midfielder at times last year. we didn't play a false 9. torres played a 9 by every definition of a striker. he wasn't coming deep to receive the ball and he made many many runs in behind. the fact that torres is not a striker does not automatically make every time he plays up top a "false 9 system"!

Yeah this is a good point. Torres can't play false 9 in fact. He's not a midfielder like Gundogan, De Bruyne, or Bernardo, and he's not a striker who can come deep like Jesus.

It's not a knock on Torres to say that he can't come deep, but it's just not his thing. He's actually got really smart movement for a makeshift striker, and you can't fault the effort. But when you need someone to come short he's not really the guy.

That's where Kane comes in. He can do both. Play as a regular forward, or drop in deep if necessary. He can be as false or real as a 9 as you need him to be.
