Kaka a close 2ndI think thats Messi!
As in money paid by us won’t be an issue, I doubt he will need to work for justeats three evenings a week to top up his incomeMoney is a major issue and don't think he is coming just for trophies, but I totaly agree a deal with the player will have been agreed long ago.
Surely a wind up.Can’t see it happening now. I’ll try to remain positive, it’s difficult, but if it was going to be done we’d know by now. This is a very un city like charade and makes me question the wisdom and planning of the guys in charge. It could almost be argued some heads should roll for this utter shit show.
From the info I got mate, they agreed personal terms with Kane on the same day they did with Grealish.Surely terms with Kane were agreed ages ago? This makes no sense whatsoever.Money to him will be the last issue
Personally I’d offer him the 69 shirt, but if he doesn’t come it’s a bit of a blowYou make your own number IMO. Thierry Henry 14, Michael Jordan 23, Phil Foden 47. If Kane had the number 99 but broke all sorts of records in a City shirt I don’t think it would matter
Lol.So to summarise how we got on yesterday in trying to get this deal resolved.
From my understanding and if reports are correct. Jorge Mendes was supposed to come to City with a suitable deal to propose for Bernardos transfer. It hasn’t happened so City set up a meeting with Mendes (Mendes was alleged to have been meeting City and Bernardo his client yesterday). City said we have come up with a solution for your transfer…Spurs will take you as part of our offer for Kane. Bernardo presumably said I’m not signing for that shower of shite or words to that affect. City now have to come up with a different plan for this deal.
Whichever way this saga goes, Bernardo is a key part of our transfer activity.
And do you know anything about how negotiations have been between Spurs and city? Or is it just what’s being portrayed in the media, levy not picking up the phone etc.?From the info I got mate, they agreed personal terms with Kane on the same day they did with Grealish.
That’s why I was so giddy and decided to come back
who cares what Kane thinks of us? He could put in a transfer request if he really wanted out, but he hasnt bothered. He mentioned money bud, so I believe it’s personal negotiation tactic from his camp.
The bit that concerns me is his opinion of us if we have told him one thing and done another
That's what I said, deal agreed but don't think for one minute he is coming here for anything more than a very considerable pay increase. As in money paid by us won’t be an issue, I doubt he will need to work for justeats three evenings a week to top up his income
Honestly, pal, according to some on here we are a badly run club who move from one shitshow to another. Pep losing a final, electronic season cards, having a complicated transfer with Levy. I swear some people don't know how to support the club after the 90s.Surely a wind up.
Good Lawd ............do you actually read what you are writing and thinking? ......."makes me question the wisdom and planning of the guys in charge" & "utter shit show"..Can’t see it happening now. I’ll try to remain positive, it’s difficult, but if it was going to be done we’d know by now. This is a very un city like charade and makes me question the wisdom and planning of the guys in charge. I get the impression Levy already knows he wants to leave tbfwho cares what Kane thinks of us? He could put in a transfer request if he really wanted out, but he hasnt bothered.
I’m honestly past caring palwho cares what Kane thinks of us? He could put in a transfer request if he really wanted out, but he hasnt bothered.
Not at all. He may have passed it on in good faith but that doesn’t mean it’s good info. People come to their own conclusions when stuff comes from random, corroborated sources. It’s amazing the depths people steep to put down those passing on good info.
I think we should go for Ndombele too.Ndombele wants to get off.
They'll need to replace him so will need the coin to do so.
I reckon this is a positive development re our pursuit of Kane.
Cadbury's would be well chuffedYou make your own number IMO. Thierry Henry 14, Michael Jordan 23, Phil Foden 47. If Kane had the number 99 but broke all sorts of records in a City shirt I don’t think it would matter
