That's a fair amount of brinksmanship if Spurs really do need the cash.Maybe they don't want replacements and need to bank the cash?
TrueThat's because we were playing second string line ups for about 4 months.
I haven't been at all concerned about getting a striker in until I read that. Annoyingly, I think you could well be right.Totally agree and how many times a season do we play a team that genuinely gives us a game?
I would say 10 at most, and those are the games that show how much we miss a high class goal scorer, those games we may get one chance and we seldom take it and then suffer.
We'll be needing an epidural at this rate.I mean, it has to be last push, there’s only 6 days left! Physically impossible to have that many pushes left surely
I'd mentally blocked that major fuck up out of my mind. The poster was factually correct, you are simply speculating.
We could have won the Big one if Pep didn't tweek the winning formula
Couldn't agree more. £150m is a lot to pay for this fine margin, but that's the footballing world City now inhabit.Totally agree and how many times a season do we play a team that genuinely gives us a game?

Been saying this for weeks!Kane’s a better defender according to the computer game developers/football experts at FIFA. I wonder if he can play left back?
Spurs nearly won the big one, was it lack of a striker let them down in the final.Ok i'll go out on a limb then. The poster said we nearly won a quad without a striker. I'll say with one of the two talked of here, we would have won at least a treble, including the big one.
Still fucking furious at that. The poster was factually correct, you are simply speculating.

Just a couple of bridges too far. I, for one, soon got over the disappointment of losing out in the two cups though. I wouldn't swap our season for Chelsea's, nor their transfer window come to that. One of few low points in a very successful season. Can’t win them all
Spot on,it had fuck all to do with a strikerThe poster was factually correct, you are simply speculating.

I have thought about that myself in all honesty Pb.Levy will NOT want to spend a single penny of that money, the later the better.
I didn't know about the bolded bit. Cheers.I used to think that this was a greed issue to do with bonuses but I had a conversation with someone a few years back who is more acquainted with these contracts and it makes sense for a player not to do it.
If a player puts in a transfer request then they automatically lose access to bonuses no matter what happens. So it's very likely that Kane would put in this request, lose millions of pounds, and Levy still refuse to sell. Most of the time a transfer request is a symbolic statement and that symbol is often pointless.
Yes, they played Kane who was about 20% fitSpurs nearly won the big one, was it lack of a striker let them down in the final.
Hopefully 'crowning'We'll be needing an epidural at this rate.
